About Russell
Russell Stoll fosters learning communities deeply rooted in cultures of inclusion and innovation. An experienced educator and school leader, Russell most recently served for four years as Principal at Da Vinci Design high school in the Los Angeles metro area. He is dedicated to building up school cultures and environments where all students feel safe, welcome, and empowered to lead. Russell's experience has given him the opportunity to see firsthand that the best way to develop strong school culture is to develop a team of trusted, empowered educators who partner with an engaged community and families.
Today, as a consultant and owner of Two Trees Insights, Russell champions educational programs that promote growth mindsets and forward-thinking practices. Russell has led over 1200+ hours of professional development, and partners with institutions from TK-12 to higher education. His broad domains of expertise include: AI ethics and integration, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), community engagement, leadership coaching, program development, and more. Russell applies his experience as a service leader and design thinker to empower schools, educators and communities to bring systemic change to the landscape of education.
In his 15+ years in education, Russell has been an academic coach, English teacher, alumni coordinator and student leadership advisor prior to being a school site administrator. Russell is a proud native son of Southern California: born in Ventura, a UCLA graduate, and a resident of Los Angeles. Russell has completed 250+ hours of yoga teacher training, and his background as a mindfulness practitioner and wilderness enthusiast informs his perspectives on a whole child approach to education.
